Everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe.

For survivors of domestic violence, finding that place can be one of the greatest barriers to building a new life.

The Olive House was created to help change that.

The Olive House is dedicated to creating a safe, stable, and permanent home for survivors of domestic violence.

This isn't a shelter or a communal living facility. There are no lobbies, dormitories, or shared living spaces.

It's a single-family home.

A place to sleep without fear.

A place to make plans.

A place to breathe.

A place to begin anew.

The Olive House is intended to remain a permanent housing resource for survivors.

RS Developments retains the home so that its purpose doesn't end when one resident's journey changes.

When the first resident is ready for their next chapter, the home stays.

Another survivor can walk through the same door, close it behind them, and begin their journey of healing in a beautiful, private home of their own.

The property is permanent. The resident's future is their own.

We don't define a survivor by what happened to them.

We don't define success by how long someone needs a safe place to live.

Success might mean finding a job. Rebuilding relationships. Raising children somewhere safe. Buying a first home. Or simply waking up one morning and realizing that life finally feels like their own again.

Whatever comes next, that future belongs to them.

The Olive House is here to provide the foundation from which they can build it.

The name was chosen intentionally.

The olive branch represents peace, while the olive tree evokes endurance, rootedness, and renewal.

Peace.

Resilience.

Rootedness.

Renewal.

A place to put down roots after a period of upheaval.
